Workshops
Our one session workshops are a great way to explore and play with clay without committing to a full class schedule. Attend by yourself or bring someone you want to get to know better and come ready to create. Our workshops range from one to three sessions and we give you the opportunity to complete an introductory hand-building experience or thrilling wheel process. Visiting artists will also be invited to demonstrate and teach their own techniques and secrets to building in clay.
Seating is limited. Advanced registration is required and work is available for pick up 3-5 weeks after the workshop’s end.

Ritual Bowl and Winter Solstice Ritual with Sunshine Kate’s

Join BCP and Sunshine Kate’s for an evening dedicated to ritual. Ritual is a practice that can shift anything from the mundane to the sacred. It is a practice to honor ancient wisdom. Ritual can be practiced any time: it’s for celebration, release, intention and for simply being with all of life.
As we enter into the final month of the year, it’s a potent time for reflection and invocation towards the new year.
And what better way to gather than when we are crafting our own ritual pottery bowls! Pottery is the oldest art in civilization. Rachel will lead us through the practice of pinching a ball of clay into your own ritual bowl to burn herbs in, to place intentions or whatever you please.
We will conclude our time together with Kate leading us through a winter ritual to honor all of the journey.
This class is for ages 16+ and price for the class includes clay, firing and glazing of your bowl. Space is limited therefore, preregistration is required.

Get a little dirty with us! No experience necessary, just come to the studio ready to create. Our skilled instructors will walk you through the basics of throwing on the pottery wheel. This is a fun and exciting intro for anyone looking to try something new!
This class is for ages 16+ and includes clay, firing and glazing of one piece of pottery per person. pace is limited therefore, pre-registration is required. All pieces will be ready for pick up 3-5 weeks following the class date. Additional pieces may be glazed and fired for a fee of $10 per piece.

Hand Built Berry Bowl Woskshop

Create a custom designed berry bowl to wash your favorite fruits and veggies!
During this workshop you will practice texture printing on slabs and will mold the clay into you bowl form. Students will get to add decorative and functional elements like handles to their bowl. Once your piece has dried, we will drill holes into the bottoms of your bowls to allow the water to flow out and create the perfect berry bowl.
This class is for ages 16+ and price for the class includes clay, firing and glazing of your bowl. Space is limited therefore, pre-registration is required. All pieces will be ready for pick up 3-5 weeks following the class date.
