Our Studio

Our goal is to foster a creative environment dedicated to building a community of ceramic artists. We are a local clay studio that offers a range of opportunities for first time through advanced potters to build and create together. Students will learn a wide range of clay techniques including the use of a potter’s wheel, hand-building, forming, construction, surface treatment, and a variety of methods to decorate and glaze ceramic ware. These classes are designed to help you develop your skills and embrace your creativity. No experience needed, come learn to make beautiful work in our studio! 

 
 

  • We also offer various one session experiences as well as classes with commitments of up to 6 weeks. These options will allow you to explore and test the waters of clay making and commit to mastering specific techniques.

    For the more experienced, self-sufficient clay workers, we offer intermediate and advanced classes and well as open studio time for all students registered in active courses.

  • Belmar Clay Project has committed to building a community of artisans and collectors. The gallery space and front window display will exhibit ceramic art works from locally renowned and nationally exhibited artists. Belmar Clay Project is committed to creating functional art that can be used, held, and enjoyed offering all locally made ceramic wares for purchase to bring amazing beauty and elegance to your home.

    All functional pottery is dishwasher & microwave safe (unless otherwise labeled).
